Although it took some getting use to, I was able to do it myself with my right hand, getting a little easier as the days went on. I did not need the disc for waterproof issues. My seal on my sleeve was blue and was tight. **Q: I just had elbow surgery to reattach tendon. Entire arm immobilized. Will this fit woman 5’3” or will it be too long? Would kids long be better?** A: The circumference of your upper arm is most important, to me. My daughter is short and the adult was long, BUT her upper arm is pretty thick. So we ordered the adult. It didn't matter that there waa extra length.
