Any cloth will do. Be sure that your granite is clean before you use it, because you don't want to polish on top of dirt. I usually use a second soft cloth (any kind) to buff up the shine, but not necessary because it seems to dry to a nice shine without the buffing. **Q: Does this just polish granite or does it clean & polish granite ?** A: This is the best stuff we have ever used! We also use it to clean the front of our stainless steel fridge I have even used it to clean glass! I would highly recommend it. We have used it for over 5 years. Spray on and wipe with a clean cloth, then go behind yourself with a totally dry cloth to polish your granite. You need to at least give it a try.
