Would not carry a gun in this. If you are in a situation where you need your gun, you're going to drop it... the design of the pocket allows the pistol to just drop out when you unzip it before you let go of the zipper. As a bag for riding a bike, it's great, mid quality but functional Update: this bag has lasted 2 years and shows some wear, but im actually impressed it has lasted this long as my daily carry bag. wallet keys and a few pens and electronic devices as well as a mini first aid kit and a high power flashlight fit well in this bag, I still wouldn't use it for my pistol, but it is a nice bag especially at the less than $15 mark.
