I can confirm it works perfectly for analog input to those headphones, and is a real physical improvement over the Shure cable.Even though it wasn't shown in the product photo, mine came with an additional 3.5mm to 1/4" TRS adapter that screws on to the larger connector, great for connecting to a sound board's monitor jack or higher-quality headphone amps. Metal spring-style strain-relief sleeves on both ends of the cable too, which also appear well-designed and built with quality.Edit: I've noticed other reviews mention acoustic coupling being an issue, due to the material and braiding. This means when physically rubbing/sliding the cable against a shelf, armrest, etc. it will transfer that vibration into the headphone its plugged into. That's certainly true and might make this particular style of braided cable inappropriate for certain ergonomic situations. But this physical vibration happens mechanically, not touching the electrical signal carried by the cable, so for a monitoring, mixing, recording etc. it's a non-issue.
