It makes the device more versatile. Collection of songs is very nice and geetmala again is an add on. Your parents would love to hear to all these songs and geetmala. Battery backup is quite good. You can expect a 6-7 hour battery backup on full charge. You can charge it with any mobile charger. Although, you will get a seperate charger in the box. Overall, this is an amazing product. But, other than that, I was disappointed on all other aspects. The size seems a bit too large, could have easily been made more compact (my personal opinion) as this is a little clunky to be carrying around. The sound quality is rather average. If you are looking for a Bluetooth & USB Speaker, then there are hundreds of much better products available at half this price. My biggest disappointment was with the FM radio - the main reason for my buying this product as I believed you could change the FM stations using the remote control. The FM tuner was not able to catch many of the stations in Bangalore properly, even when I was standing in the balcony of my apartment on the 4th floor. Inside the living room, just one station could be tuned in to. You cannot save or preset FM stations (a feature that was a 'must have' for me ) - so, every time you have to manually tune and the tuning dial just does not do the job adequately. Overall, I am very disappointed with this product, its quality and its features.
