More so than I even expected!! We absolutely love it till we go to sleep. I'm not sure what King Bed this comforter was made for, but it barely ( maybe an inch or less) even goes over the edge. So when we go to sleep we each are fighting for the blanket. However naptimes alone are fabulous surrounded by this comforter. And no I do not have a California King bed. I have the a King bed. If you have a queen Off recommend buying the King and you will have the BEST comforter ever! It's so dreamy and yummy!
