It's very generous in size and is still my favorite throw. **Q: I am looking for a 50x70 throw. Do you have any?** A: Greenland Home Antique Rose is Beautiful but it is 50" by 60", so this one is close by if you really need the extra this is not the one **Q: What is the texture of the blanket?? Is it thick or thin???** A: The ones I bought are thick. I purchased a total of 5 and all were thick, excellent quilting and good quality, holds up under machine washing. **Q: Has this been prewashed?** A: I don't know, but washed mine in cold water and dried on low temp and had no shrinkage. It’s 100% cotton, a soft natural fabric which comforted his senior bones. He enjoyed laying on it and as he fell asleep, I’d fold over the fabric to cover him up and he’d snuggle into it. ❤️ I love the vintage print of the large red and pink cabbage roses against the ecru and blue color. It has a vintage look and feel to it. The reverse fabric is a pencil-stripe mixed with smaller rose flowers, which is a lovely contrast. The fabric in the corners is mitered so that all parts of the pattern align properly so there are no mismatched areas. This is a sign of a carefully crafted product and I appreciate that attention to detail. It’s a very useful size, slightly smaller than a twin-size bed and great to use as an extra layer of warmth on one side of a larger size bed. My little dog didn’t use the quilt for long because he passed away the month after we got it, but he did enjoy using it during the remaining time he was with us. I use it now to cover myself from the draft of an open window or air conditioning, same as I did for him. I plan to pass this down to my children, so they’ll be able to use it as well.
