I believe its the same size as the heating pad which is12.5x18.5x0.25. mine is outside so I usually hose it down in the spring with some laundry soap and let it air dry outside. I'm not real satisfied with the shelter because if the animal get the cover wet it takes a while for it to dry. While its wet the animal is not kept warm. Also, the heating pad does not get warm enough in the really cold weather. I found making my own shelter out of a large Styrofoam container, lining it with foil insulation and foil taping the edges and adding straw to that is the best shelter for an outside animal. The straw does not absorb moisture which helps keep the animal warm. **Q: Can I put the Deluxe Fleece cover OVER the simulated sheepskin cover that came with the pad? It seems it would make the bed even softer....or is there a chance of overheating by doing this. Please advise. Thanks!
