I purchased them to cushion a sore area (corn or planters wart) on the sole of ball of my foot. Sometimes I also have a sore tailors bunion. These work well for both. Just slightly twist the pad and the sore corn is cushioned or put it on straight as directed and my bunion is cushioned. Either way the pad is comfortable, stays in place, fits in my shoe and does the trick! They are also easy to wash and are durable.
