Conditioner is only applied to the length and ends, so if you have longer hair, a conditioner would be beneficial to keep the ends hydrated and healthy. First, I use a regular shampoo to remove dirt and oil and then rinse. The second shampoo I use is Leonor Grey. Since my hair and scalp are clean from the first shampoo, this product quickly penetrates and works. After that, I rinse very gently because using Leonor Grey makes my hair feel hard and brittle, but after using conditioner, it goes back to being soft. As per directions, I shampoo twice, and since this is an expensive shampoo, I use this product the second time I shampoo. It really works for me. I wash my hair twice a week so this product last me 3-4 months. My scalp smells fresh and no itchiness for four days without washing which never happens if I dont use this shampoo. I buy lots of this whenever Amazon has a deal.
