They're good looking, the drawstrings mean that they're easy use, open wide for filling, then close securely to exclude light. The linen cotton is breathable, which is as important as light exclusion, and the potato sack holds 4 kilos of medium sized potatoes though, of course you can use them for any root veg. We've got potatoes in one and onions, echalion shallots, carrots and parsnips in the other so functionality is flexible.

**Q: How are the storage bags lined please?**
A: The storage bags are not lined

**Q: Is this a pair of bags or just one that can be used for either potatoes or onions?**
A: There are two bags, one for potatoes and 1 for onions.They work well keeping our potatoes and onions fresher for longer providing they are kept in a cool dark place. We keep ours in the bottom of our larder cupboard in the kitchen.

**Q: Do these bags will help the potatoes and onions stay for longer without getting moldy?**
A: We have found that these bags work very well in our larder cupboard and keep the onions and potatoes fresher for longer, providing you remove then from any plastic packaging.

**Q: Can these bags be washed?**
A: Not washed them as I gave them to my granddaughter at Christmas. But they are linen I think, so should be washable.

Excellent quality, haven’t washed it yet as I only received it yesterday. Good size and strong, my previous bags had a black lining and these don’t so I’ll see if the vegetables last as long as in previous bags.
