They also say sprinkle sandalwood wood powder on it which they do not provide, what they do provide are 2 BACKFLOW cones that are very hard and cheap.

**Q: Are these sandalwood or palo santo ? The description Is confusing .**
A: Neither. JUST WOOD that’s red in the box with a couple of cones shaped sandle wood incense.  Just my opinion.

**Q: How is it burnt?**
A: Like Palo Santo or any other incense.  Yet, my opinion is this wood is not a great buy. Comes with a couple of cone shaped incense in the box so the smell is great. Burn the “sandle wood” sticks alone & they’re just wood (or at least they burn & smell like just wood) Buy a better brand.

**Q: How is it that these have an over four star rating with the highest rating they got in his 3.8? If somebody could just explain to me I’ll be happy.**
A: Bogus reviews is the only answer. Don’t believe me, but some and try them. If you feel like wasting your money.

**Q: Would it be possible to ground the sticks in a mortar and pestle?**
A: So, I ordered these and they seem like just regular wood sticks. They have no fragrance or resemblance to sandalwood at all. I wouldn't waste your money if you're looking for the scent of sandalwood.

They smell like burning paper. If I could rate them zero stars I would; terribly disappointing for 16.00 dollars. It's not always easy finding the real thing out there! Genuine sandalwood is unique and wonderful, and it's a relief to have a trusted brand. Nice sized sticks, strong scent, and well packaged.
