No feathering or bleedthrough, and it's smooth enough that my nib didn't drag or scratch. There was a bit of ghosting, but this paper is thin enough that you can see through it to the page behind, so that's to be expected. **Q: Whats the difference between this and the southworth fine business paper, 25% cotton, 20 lb, white, 500 sheets (403c)?** A: The 24 lb. paper is a little thicker and heavier paper than the 20 lb. For our office use these days I use the 20 lb. for letterhead because it is light, and the 24 lb. (in ivory and white) for important documents such as Last Wills that will be around for a while and should have a little more heft to them. Sometimes if I have a sheet of 20 lb. 25% Cotton Business Paper sitting on my desk, I have to pick it up to look for the watermark to make sure it's the "good" paper and not just a sheet of regular all-purpose paper, if that gives you an idea of the weight. The 24 lb. paper has a slightly different finish than the 20 lb. and occasionally I have a little bleed with the 24 lb. when I use a large, bold font like 16 point with my old Dell inkjet printer. When I print in 12 point Times New Roman, which is what I use most of the time, I have no bleed. (I have no bleed with the 100% cotton 24 lb. paper.) I hope this helps. Thanks!** A: No. **Q: Whats the difference between natural, and the white color of the paper? Is one better for something else?** A: "Natural" is basically a very light shade of ivory, definitely not a bright white like bleached white paper. Personally, I find ivory "too yellow" for really any purpose, but I do prefer the somewhat warmer color "natural" for most correspondence and resumes, and white for "documents", broadly speaking.
