If not, which product does this ?** A: Not sure. You might be able to if you can connect the tone generator to one end of the Cat5 cable. The signal would be very faint, at best, as this device is made for the probe to actually touch the wire. Not familiar with a tone generator that would work this way, but the Home Depot has a device that will allow you to see through walls to see what's behind it.
