Can I put them in the washing machine without the colors bleeding?** A: I have two Kantha quilts already and wash in machine:cold water, delicate setting, line dry. Haven't had any issues with colors bleeding. I'm sure the vintage saris they are made from have been washed many times by hand. From some of the customer photos it looks like they are thin as head scarves.** A: the material is a little thicker that a bed sheet, and there are two sewn together.
