**Q: Would it work for baofeng uv-82?**
A: I don’t think so. I have a 6 battery charger for my uv5 and that all I use it for. I had a uv82 with a spare battery. I plugged the uv82 into my single battery uv5 charger and it smoked the charger.

**Q: how long can I leave the radios charging without damaging the battery life?**
A: I have used the radios and charger for about two years. The radios are sometimes left for a week Or sometimes as little as a half hour. I have never noticed any loss of battery life.

**Q: Is this a ch-5 cradle or a ch-8? I think those two cover baofeng radios**
A: These are CH-5 cradles, which is compatible with UV-5R series but not other series.

**Q: Will this work with the UV-S9?**
A: It all depends which battery you are using Some arethicker then others and will not fit charger station

This allowed me to get rid of 4 individual Baofeng radio chargers and put them all into a single unit for charging, PLUS two additional slots for extra batteries. It's as simple as can be. Plug in your charger power supply into this 6-slot cradle, put it somewhere on your workbench then drop in your radios or spare batteries (obviously for your UV-5R radios). So far, it's working as intended. Radios and batteries fit in the slots nicely and no issues encountered with bad electrical connections so far.

Very pleased with this product. I priced the one that had multiple charging ports in a single strip but too pricey. This product had a great price point and value for the money.
