When it first arrived I was a little let down. It's smaller than the picture led me to believe. Don't be fooled though. This light is bright, long lasting and mostly easy to use. Here's what I found on our first trip out. As the description said, it's water resistant. I can't give an accurate dust protection without tearing it apart like AVE would do. Be mindful it's only IP65 which gives dust protection and water resistance. NOT to be confused with water proof. IP67 would be the rating for immersion resistant. I wish I could toss it in the lake, but alas! It's less than 40 bucks. We left it out all weekend while camping next to a lake in the eastern region of Oklahoma during rain storms and high humidity. Every morning we woke to a due covered camp. The light never seem to mind. The rubber plugs cover the charging ports well and are easy to remove when needed. The carabiner worked well and is plenty wide to hang it from larger tree limbs. It's nice that it folds out of the way so you can stand it up on a flat surface. All the rest of the case fitment seem well designed and manufactured. No loose rattling bits! The only complaint, though it's a small one, is the switch or rather it's programing. It requires two clicks for On/Off function. Starting out with the medium brightness a second click gets you to low, a third to high and one more click to strobe. It's mainly the "Double click" that's the issue. Too fast and it won't turn on, too slow and, yep you know. After a few beers you end up pushing the button many times before cussing a little and then getting it. I would prefer a "Long press" in that you just hold the button till it comes on/off. The rest of it's function is great. In conclusion it's a keeper. It doubles as a safety light when the power goes out, a charging device and a search beacon. We used it for three nights straight out of the box, without charging it and according to the LED capacity meter we only used 1 out of four. 25% would be a little easier to say.
