What seperates Project Cars 2 from its rivals is the attention detail in not only the physics and tire model, but the tracks and environments as well. Each car and track feels alive and like a unique and new challenge. With over 180 cars and lots of tracks that’s a lot gameplay. Sound is also excellent and makes the sim very immersive. As of 11/28/17 there are some issues and small bugs, I have not had much fun racing the AI , Texas Motor speedway has issues with grip . I think all of this will be fixed with a patch. I play with a game pad and that works fine for me after some practice and getting used to the physics. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Big Improvement *by D***S on Reviewed in the United States on 6 December 2017* This game is one of the best sim racing games currently on the market. The update (patch) makes the game much more playable on a controller, which I can see is a common complaint in the reviews here on Amazon. You will have to tinker with the settings to get it to where you like it, but at least this time around there are detailed descriptions of what each setting does, unlike the first Project Cars. I enjoyed this game so much, I bought a Thrustmaster T150 to play it, and let me tell you, playing on a force feedback racing wheel takes this game to a whole new level.The graphics are good, but there are better looking racing games (Gran Turismo Sport, Drive Club), and the selection of cars is strong, but not crazy huge like the Forza games or the PS3 Gran Turismo games, but you should be able to find a car you like. There are some noticable omissions, like there are no Subaru or Peugeot cars, but overall a pretty rounded selection with most racing disciplines represented. The track list is amazing, and each track has been modeled as close to their real life counterpart as is currently possible in a video game. The weather is also a major improvement, with rain, snow, and fog all affecting races, plus full day/night cycles. Overall the gameplay, car selection and track list are great. The career mode is better than PCars1, but still kind of basic. Not all cars are treated with the same love, as force feedback is modeled on most cars, but some are just lacking. The graphics have minor glitches, and the frame rate can slow down at times. Not a perfect game, but a huge improvement over the original game, and a great option for sim racing fans.
