Ryegrass Mustard and pea seeds. I don't recommend planting the entire envelope of seeds, we only used about a quarter of the packet and they seem to filling the areas quite well. The gardens took about 3 days in a kitchen window facing west, by the end of a week they were already going crazy growing. The mustard has grown about a foot in length 2 weeks later. We will definatly be replanting them into other "larger" pots. lol I hope this information is helpful. **Q: Received as gift. How do we order a replacement part that broke?** A: You will have to write or call or email the company and tell them. They might send you a whole new kit to use. Worth a try! **Q: Is this too grown up for a 3 year old?** A: I gave it to my 2 grand daughters ( 3 & 5 years old). Their Mother had to put it together & we didn't put the dirt & seeds in it... we thought it would be too much of a mess. They played with it with other little fairies that they had.
