This product will give your DIY projects a cleaner more professional look. YES, it consumes a fair amount of time to wrap all the cable bundles on a larger project like a computer; but you will really appreciate the clean look you gain for all your effort.The springiness and stiffness of this product ensure that wires stay in place. These same qualities, however, can make the product unwieldy to use, especially in tight corners. One nice thing about spiral wrap is that you can easily drop individual wires or groups of wires out of the bundle anywhere along the run.The price was fair and I especially like not being forced to buy a 100 foot spool. But unless you have a bunch of thin guage (22awg or thinner) cables to bundle, better off buying a larger wrap. I used this on 4 sets of monster xp speaker wire (about 16 awg each) to do an 8ft run to a passive sub. Total diameter was within the range listed. It fit but made the cables extremely stiff and impossible to feed as intended. I ended up using a foot at both ends just to keep the cables together, and still have the flex in the middle to make the bend.
