Paul Rubens Artist Watercolor Paints-Glitter Solid Colors-Pink Portable Metal Case with Palette-24 Color Set

These are very nice watercolors to have fun with. They can’t be considered professional grade due to the additives to make it sparkle. But they work very well. Quite hard to do any colors mixing, but it has a good range of hues to be used as effects on your projects.I’m giving 3 stars to it because the metal case - although it comes wrapped in a cloth and inside a sturdy cardboard box - came dented. It has a smash on it. And the tray inside is not well welded to the pans holders, so it keeps detaching. The tray inside also came with a dent. I’m not returning it just because I need the product now for a project. It could have been a problem on the brand quality control, the seller handling the pack or the delivery company. Don’t know. But wouldn’t buy online again.

I had my eyes on this watercolor set for a while so when a 50% coupon was offered, I snatched one immediately and I must say I wasn’t disappointed. ( I bought the 24 pan set )- The set comes in a beautiful, neat package with a cloth and an empty swatch sheet.- Paul Rubens claims the set contains high quality artist grade watercolor which is a must if you plan to sell your work.- The set is affordable for an Artist grade watercolor compared to other brands.- Most of the colors are single pigment colors which is great for mixing.- The colors are highly pigmented and re-wets easily. They also flow nicely and can be lifted.The downside to this set-for me- is the pink color! I wish if there is a black option available.I would recommend the set to anyone who wants an upgrade to a better quality watercolor( if currently using kids\hobby and student grade ).The set also would make a wonderful gift for Artists.
