A good deal of care and patience (and precise colour matching of thread) would have to be used however. I would not recommend them for a lightweight or stretch fabric, whether sewn or stuck down but on denim or heavy cotton they should be fine. Perhaps sticking the patch on then sewing in place would be the best/easiest solution. Be warned, there is a lot of fine detail. Hand sewing may overtask a novice but would ensure that none of the patch becomes unstuck with wear/use/cleaning. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Recommend *by A***R on 22 May 2025* Just like the picture and work great xx ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality pieces *by S***S on 18 November 2025* Size approx 2 inches long by about an inch wide worked really well for covering an iron burn ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pretty Blossoms *by P***S on 2 October 2021* These stick-on embroidery patches are not very sticky. Despite ironing my garment as hot as I dared the patches did not stick down uniformly. Some of the smaller branches/blossoms have come loose although for the most part they did adhere. I have hand sewn the loose sections and my dress looks gorgeous but I do not expect the patches to remain in place through a wash, no matter how gentle. If used on a bag or other non washable item they might fare better, although how you would iron the patches onto an irregular shaped object i don’t know. While the patches remain in place (I bought 2 sets for a plain black dress, one white blossoms one pink) the garment looks lovely and perhaps a good deal more hand sewing will prevent the patches ever peeling up, in which case I will actually be satisfied. The design is lovely and the patches were large enough to split one in two , creating a design that spans the top-back of the garment, complementing the patches on the front and hem of the dress.
