A: Sooo, your question is? I assume your concern is about refreezing a zipper bag 2-3 times? You understand that these zipper bags, even if freezer-rated, are generally designed for single use only? Also, water, in whatever form, does expand when frozen; a unique property compared to other substances. I would expect that the repeated refreezing of water-based items in any given plastic bag would induce wear and tear and weakening of the plastic, much like the repeated re-pressurization of aircraft hulls (case in point: the near-disaster of the Aloha Airlines' Boeing 737 in the 1980s).

**Q: Are these big enough to fit a cornish cross rooster? 8-10 lbs.**
A: I believe that a whole Costco rotisserie-roasted chicken will fit in these 2 gal. bags, as a point of reference. I'm not familiar with cornish cross roosters.
