The tent poles are made of like fiber glass or something though and easily give painful slivers while assembling it but once assembled, it doesnt seem to pose a risk to the children because the poles are well covered by the tent fabric. The tent is spacious enough to fit a small couch for my toddler to relax inside. It's incredibly sturdy and offers amazing quality for the price. The only downside, and the reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five, is the fiberglass rods that support the tent. I wish I had noticed the reviews mentioning this beforehand. That said, it’s still an excellent tent.
