The "tinted" was added to the packaging to help customers identify the correct product that they want. TIZO2 product (the TIZO3 counterpart) is the same formula but "non-tinted" Hope that helps. **Q: My husband has an Irish red face. Will this reduce redness without giving a pale look?** A: I don't know how it would appear on his face. My skin is very pale/white and the product made me look orange and darkened my complexion. The tint that looked orange on me might make your husband look orange red. I also did not like the way the sunscreen settled in lines and wrinkles and made me look older than I look in reality. I've gone back to my old standby - Obagi Sun Shield, Broad Spectrum SPF 50, matte finish, untinted.
