A: I wear a 7 and buy 38  so seems a 39 would work for you. I own many Helen Sandler and love them.  All I wear for comfort.  Yes sometimes leather around toe is rough in beginning, but cHanges quickly. Leather does soften. My toes are close to top of toe bed, but fit fine. Work on leather by toe a little. Should be perfect in no time.broken in shoes are always best.

**Q: Are the size 11 a 41 or 42? I just tried on the 41 at a local store and they were to short.**
A: a size 41 is like a 10-10.5 and the 42 is a 11-11.5

**Q: I wear a 39 is that same as a 9?**
A: A size 39 is about an 8.5 - 9

**Q: what if you are a half size: do you size up or down?**
A: You size up. It's  ok
