Khan is a terrific instructor and this book along with the DVD will give the buyer far more satisfaction than its price. I'm so happy with my experience learning the speed bag - I'd recommend it to anyone at any age. It is easy to suit the workout to your own abilities and intensity level. With this instruction it's a can't miss. This book and it's DVD is a little dated but there is not a need for much change. It covers so many techniques and exercises it will confidently start any beginner or satisfy most any advanced master. When first learning I did use youtube for some of the very basics (circle punching and wrapping the hands correctly most importantly) but to open your eyes to how much variety there is this book can't be beat.
