There is a learning curve. Trikes do not take tight curves well, you will have to slow pretty far down before turning corners. This was all tested prior to the trailer being attached. However, the positive is knowing the turning threshold for the entire bike makes it safer for me to travel with my two medium sized dogs in the trailer. When I was pulling the trailer with the E bike I actually no idea what was happening with the trailer when I was turning corners.Customer service HAS to be great. The only instructions included were a postcard that asks you to text customer service. So if you did not have a cell phone I’m not sure how this would’ve been handled. They did have an older manual online, which I searched for and few videos on YouTube.I used these because I was too impatient to wait for a customer service representative to contact me. Though they did contact me the same day.At first the motor would not start, so I contacted them again and they told me a trick get it to work.Once everything was set up I dismantled the rack which was already assembled. I have found that with every e-bike/trike pre-assembled screws need to be tightened. They jiggle loose. That was the case for the rack that holds the battery. I ended up losing the nuts because they jiggle loose. The only thing I noticed was the battery was getting far more difficult to pull out and push in before I realized it was actually because those screws were coming loose. I love having to buy some lock nuts, which is what they should’ve used in the first place.What would’ve made this trike better is if it came with an option greater than 750 W and had a mid-drive motor. I just live in a very hilly neighborhood and the bike response on the hills varies. Sometimes it works fantastic, to the point where I don’t understand why anybody would want anything greater than 750 W. Other times on the same hill it would seem like it was struggling. There seems to be nothing to account for this discrepancy. On the hills, the battery will sometimes register a great discharge of 20% and then I will get to the light and it will change to 5%.Otherwise the anticipated drainage amount by the time I do a round-trip seems to be normal.Front wheel drive, like in a car, resulted in spinning wheels as I transitioned from road to a slightly graveled slope. Unlike with my E-bike pulling the trailer, this was not a smooth transition. However. my ebikes motor is on the rear tire. Despite recommendations, I now know this bike cannot drive through Beach Sand at 3 inches unless it’s mostly compressed.Delivery:My ebike was delivered in high density foam, with nice tools and delivered like a $3K bike. This eTrike was in very little foam or protective wrapping, with a few Allen wrenches. The fact that it was in one piece speaks to the quality of the bike itself. The box was in shreds.Pros:Total weight capacity and 3-wheel configuration allow for various setup opportunities for the rack area.Large tires allow for ability to go from concrete to grass.Battery is easy to remove, allowing for charge in the house.Key does not have to stay in battery once turned on.For only being 750watts, does hills fairly wellNice quality trike.Great customer service.Extremely VersatileCons:Seat is uncomfortable.Missing manual or website links.Not packaged well with few tools.Loose screws.No upgrade option for larger motor.Edit:After owning for 1 year, the customer service provided by Fernando is awesome. I was able to text him a year later with a question.I originally removed the rear basket and replaced it with a dog carrier.I have hung the rear basket from the handle bars when I need to carry groceries and dogs.I have removed the dog carrier and ridden around a second passenger for a total bicycle weight test of 440 lb.I have ridden it for a ~26 mile round trip to the beach and back with the dog carrier (2 dogs) and myself, total weight ~350lbs. Uphill both ways.Almost ran out of batteries, but it wasn’t an easy trek. To encourage the battery to last for the trip, I avoided throttle and tried to remain in level 1/2. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars A solid performer with a couple of quirks *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2020* The 3Score trike arrived quickly from the seller via truck carrier. The trike's condition on arrival was fairly good, with a couple problems noted below. The seller also sent me via email the assembly and operating instruction manual. The assembly instructions are very basic and I recommend that you have a local bike shop assemble your trike if you're not experienced with working on bikes or trikes. This was my fourth build so it was fairly easy for me. If you do assemble it yourself, you'll need a metric wrench/socket set, a set of metric allen wrenches and a philips screwdriver.Assembly went fairly well with a couple of exceptions. The biggest problem was that some water had infiltrated the shipping container and caused some fairly nasty rust on the chain. There was also a small scratch on the frame and a couple of missing screws/nuts. The seller was very responsive in addressing these issues and I replaced the chain during assembly.One other thing that I noticed during assembly is that the brake levers were reversed from what my wife and I are used to. It was easy to swap the cables around and I did so to prevent an inadvertent stoppie :)This trike is very solid and stable. It also offers a LOT of cargo capacity. If you're looking for a trike that's capable of hauling just about any kind of load, this is it! The very beefy front hub motor, large battery and 5 levels of pedal assist will make any trip a breeze. A thumb throttle is by the right handgrip and allows you to propel yourself down the road (very briskly) without pedaling if you so choose.If you're used to a 2-wheeler, there's a little bit of a learning curve ahead for you. The tires on the trike are massive and steering is considerably heavier than on a conventional bicycle. Definitely go around your block a few times to get the hang of it before heading out into traffic. Also be careful in tight corners and you might want to slow down on those while learning this trike's handling characteristics.Components used on this trike were better than expected. Disc brakes front and rear work great and will get you stopped in a hurry. The 7-speed Shimano shifter and gear are what you would expect: a solid performer with effortless shifting. The tires are quite wide and should accommodate riding in most on- or off-road conditions.As with other electric bikes/trikes, a display is front and center on the handlebars. The color display contains all the information needed and is fairly easy to understand. One fairly big nit for me is the display brightness as I find it dim and difficult to read in bright sunlight.Other accessories included are a headlight, brake light, turn signals, mirrors and a cell phone holder. The headlight is more than adequate, however the brake light and turn signals are fairly dim in bright sunlight. Definitely use hand signals during the day as most motorists behind you won't even notice the lights on the rear.The other nit I had with this trike are the mirrors. The placement is kind of weird and doesn't allow for a good view behind you.
