It's not hard to do, but very time consuming. There are probably thousands of very tiny areas to fill in and except for the sky and water almost every other area uses multiple colors. The buildings use just about every color, same for the trees and ground. I'm not trying to talk anyone out of buying this, just be aware that it will take a lot of time. I am 64 and have been doing paint by numbers most of my life and this was the most challenging. I did enjoy doing it and it's well worth the effort. A couple areas of concern though. First of all, there is no separate sheet showing the numbers. If you paint over any of the little numbers by mistake you have to guess what they're supposed to be. Really doesn't matter in this case though, if you paint a leaf green instead of red, etc, it's fine. There are so many different shades of each color that if you mix a few up no one would notice. And, they didn't give me enough dark green or black paint. I ran out and had to find some more I had from other paintings. There are a lot of areas that get black and dark green, they should give you 2 pots of each.
