My couch is big (wide, tall, and deep) and most slip covers don’t fit. This does, but the foam to hold it in place doesn’t stay that well once you sit on it. It’s a little lighter/shinier, and the pile is a little higher than I expected, so you can see hand marks and sometimes butt prints. I tried to attach a close-up picture as an example of the material, but I don’t think the picture quality shows it. I think I was expecting a velveteen and this is closer to stuffed animal? But again, soft and comfortable for us and the dogs and it machine washes (the most important part, because of the dogs), but I’d probably take it off before company came over. ### ⭐ Cheap plush, not velvet.
