I let it cure for 24 hours before I tested my subwoofer and the product works. Now my subwoofer will last hopefully another 20 years. I ordered the kit with two speaker foams so if it happens again I have a spare. I highly recommend this product. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These surrounds are thinner than the original Boston VR975 parts, but work just fine. *by M***D on September 25, 2021* When I first opened the packaging, it appeared that only one surround was included. I sent a problem inquiry to the seller - they got back to me within hours letting me know that they are very thin and sometimes stick together and appear to be only one - they were correct! I installed the one where I had an immediate need, and it works great - no distortion. I used this kit for a Boston Acoustics VR975 woofer - these replacement foams are about half as thick as the originals, but that doesn't seem to make any difference in sound - I hear no difference between the other speaker with the original foam and this one. One other thing - the outer edge of these is slightly oversize to fit within the VR975 frame - as described in the instructions for cases like this, I had to trim about 1/16" off the outer edge all the way around in order for the new surround to fit flat into the speaker metal frame - just go slow and be careful, and it will turn out fine. Without using any glue first, I tried to get things centered without trimming the outer edge - didn't seem like it would work out well - it wanted to sit too high and would have made it difficult to center the cone and get it stuck into the glue. After trimming to fit, it sat right in place and was easy to get things centered to avoid rubbing in the voice coil. Good product, and good seller! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm very happy with this *by C***Y on February 18, 2018* I'm very happy with this. The surround on my BA subwoofer was pretty well shot (either due to its 15+ year ave or a new curious cat). The instructions were clear, and there was ample quantity of adhesive. The only problem was i didnt realize there were actually TWO new foam rings in the package. As i was gluing, i started to notive an odd "delamination" occuring :-D which i soon figured out was the two rings stuck together. I peeked the top one away and cleaned up.
