You can calibrate pretty close, the final adjustments will have to ne done at the range.However, seller is kind of from 'another world'. Sends me box stripped out of batteries.Upon contacting him, he kind of corrects it. I purchased this tool mainly because advertisement says it comes with 2 sets of batteries. Since this tool comes with small button size batteries, not rechargeable ones, 2 sets it a pretty good deal considering you have to spend $8 at Walmart for one set.So , after couple of days batteries arrive, unfortunately only 1 set.Take it for whatever it is.
