A: These will work on original wiring and stock radio, but for best sound and amplifier is recommended.

**Q: Can these fit 2001 ford xlt f150 front speakers?**
A: Yes they should but with a bracket. I have a 99 f150 and 6x8s were originally there and I bought the bracket to go to the 6.5"
