I no longer carried a wallet at all once this case arrived. Keeping my phone safe was my primary goal, as it should be with any device that costs so much, but the idea of simplifying my daily routine was also nice.Upon arrival I was impressed with the build quality the moment I touched it. While the materials are largely what I would consider standard there are a few bits that deserve special mention. Thew door that slides back and forth operates smoothly even after a years of daily use. The bottom portion of the guide rail is metal and has shown a bit of wear but is not in any way compromised. The top portion is plastic but is also fully functional. Having carried my S20 Ultra in this case the entire time I owned it I have had a few moment where I was certain that a fall had at least cracked it. This is due, in part, to the fact that I do not use a screen protector of any kind and partly that I am as graceful as Linus Sebastian holding PC parts. I am pleased to say that my fears were unfounded every time. The VRS Design Damda protected my expensive tech every time. I do not have much negative to say at all. If pressed I would criticize the design for having fake hex screws that look cool but also provide a place for gunk to gather. Other than that I have no complaints at all.
