Bernie MevWomen's, Cuddly Slip-On

I have a bad ankle that swells. Sometimes I can’t walk very well. So I have to wear comfortable shoes. These are stretchy and very comfortable. I get comments on the color of them all the time. I usually always wear a size 7.5 in shoes. I think I ordered a 7.5 in size. but I probably should have ordered an eight. They are just a bit snug but I can still wear them.

The shoes are very comfortable "if" you get the right size. It does not matter if you find a size that fits. If you reorder another pair using the same size they will more than likely be too small or too large. This is not based on one occasion. It has happened to me several times. Doesn't say too much for my intelligence at this point. If you do happen to get a pair that fits they are comfortable and cute.

I bought these for my daughter as school shoes and she's loving them. The came "cuddly" made us think maybe they would be soft, so I ordered her a pair in the Pewter color. When they arrive we were both surprised to find that Pewter was not a soft grey shoe but actually more of a dark silver shoe. Not so shiny that they look like dress shoes, but they do have some shimmer to them.We though for sure they would end up being uncomfortable because the material was more metallic rather than soft and fluffy. If nothing else maybe the piece that goes over the foot might be itchy. As it turns out these are extremely comfortable even made of a metallic fabric. Somehow the metallic weave doesn't irritate the skin at all and it's just as comfortable as any other shoe.My daughter wears a women's size 9, I wear an 8. I tried on her shoe surprisingly didn't find it overly large on my foot. So I thought they must be too small for her, but they were an exact fit. These seem to conform to feet and do so without making it look like your foot it busting out of the sides or the top of the shoe. My daughter says she feels like these shoes make her feet look "slimmer".She wears them with no-show socks and then also without socks. If she's going to have them on all day at school she wears them with socks. Any other time she wears them without socks. They're comfortable for her both ways. She has them in the "40M" size, and she's a typical size 9 in most women's shoes. She likes these so much I will probably be buying another pair in a second color for her. They're cheaper than so many of the other similar types of flats out there!

I was looking for a casual dress shoe to wear with skirts and dresses. I fell in love with this design. This one fits great. I wish it had a small heel but as is, this is a good purchase.

The is my 9th pair of Bernie Mav shoes. I bought my first pair 9 years ago and I still get compliments on them.I have several styles. They are comfortable and durable. A thiner orthotic will work if one is required. I highly recommend these shoes. ❤️

So comfortable and look great. I have a bronze and black pair. Wore my bronze ones on stage. Big hit!

I decided not to return because I think it will work for what I want, BUT I had to buy a padded/support liner to make it fit better. Even with the liner, it is not at all "cuddly." Also, return on the other pair I got (because I wasn't sure of what size to order) was not as easy as products sent straight from Amazon. I like the woven upper and I like that is is completely flat, which was my primary goal.

I ordered this in a size 40 and 41 to fit my size 9 foot, based on reviews that said it fit short. The 40 is way too short. My toe hits the end of the shoe in the size 41. It might be wearable like that (I'm not sure), but the instep strap is too long in the size 41 (though it fit correctly in the size 40). So both pairs have to go back.It's a nice shoe, and hugs the foot much better than the demure model which was too wide for me. I'm giving up on bernie mev elastic shoes... the sizing is just too weird.
