Review: I'm no electrician but this is ALMOST perfect! - I needed to extend an outdoor power cord on a pond filter so, having read many different reviews, I decided to give this Elezenioc IP68 Waterproof Junction Box a try. I'm no electrician (female in her 50s) but I managed to work it out, without instructions. The rubber bung parts are excellent and really do tighten up around the cable to make a water tight seal. The "lid" goes on well too and the little seal around the edge seems like it's up to the job too. My only gripe is the little white connector inside. It was very fiddly and, in the end, I ended up pulling both ends of cable right out through the box, wiring into the connector then carefully pulling the connected wires back down into the box. I'm sure the "clip lock" type fixings available on connectors would have made this a much easier task. But.... that said.... it's done, it works perfectly and my pond pump is working perfectly. I think, if I ever had to use a similar product again, that I'd look for one with an easier clip type connector method, simply for ease of use. Other than that, good item. Does it's job!

**Q: Size of box**
A: I find myself answering questions from idiots who cannot seem to read the details. Ok, I have a spare one. The box only is 62mm long x 38mm wide x 37mm high. Clearly, the mounting screws , attachment feet and glands protrude far beyond that. I.e. Overall length is 115 mm.

**Q: Can you fit a usb plig in this?**
A: Don't know, as I have no need for this arrangement and have therefore not attempted to fit as questioned.

**Q: Could I use this to repair a power cable I cut through on my lawnmower?**
A: Dear customer, of course you can do this. But I would suggest that you use strong glue or tape to fix the connection between the cable and the junction box, which can effectively prevent the wire from being torn off.

I'm no electrician (female in her 50s) but I managed to work it out, without instructions. The rubber bung parts are excellent and really do tighten up around the cable to make a water tight seal. The "lid" goes on well too and the little seal around the edge seems like it's up to the job too. My only gripe is the little white connector inside. It was very fiddly and, in the end, I ended up pulling both ends of cable right out through the box, wiring into the connector then carefully pulling the connected wires back down into the box. I'm sure the "clip lock" type fixings available on connectors would have made this a much easier task. But.... that said.... it's done, it works perfectly and my pond pump is working perfectly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy cable connection box

A nice little cable connection box that is waterproof (and also meant to be suitable for full immersion) & simple, if a bit fiddly for larger hands. I would recommend this product as it is very reasonable priced & suitable to be fixed on place via external lugs. As usual, the screws that fix the lid down (4 No, one in each corner) could be better quality but easily swapped out if necessary.
