Review: Bislang habe ich immer ein normales Sieb zum Waschen von Reis verwendet, wusste dadurch aber nicht genau, wann das Wasser tatsächlich klar war. Mit diesem Seiher geht das wunderbar, und das restliche Wasser lässt sich auch sehr gut an der Seite abgießen, so dass der gewaschene Reis ohne Probleme in den Reiskocher getan werden kann. Diese Siebschüssel hat genau die richtige Größe und gummierte Griffe, so dass man jederzeit einen guten Griff hat. Sie ist robust und von sehr guter Qualität. Daher empfinde ich auch den Preis als angemessen. Mein Reis hat mir noch nie so gut geschmeckt.

**Q: Will quinoa fall through or get stuck in the holes?**
A: They get stuck in the holes. I had to pluck them out with a pin. I tried to used water pressure to push them through but they wouldn't budge.

**Q: how large is it (width and height)?**
A: Handle to handle the width is 10 1/2 inches.  Side to side the width is 9 1/2 inches.   Height is 4 1/2 inches.  It holds 2 1/2 quarts.If you have further questions please let us know.

**Q: how many cups of quinoa/rice does it wash comfortably? thanks**
A: I have washed 2 cups before, but I think you could probably wash 4 cups if you are careful. The holes are small enough to keep the grain in, and if you run the water fast, the water comes in faster than it drains out, so you can partially fill the bowl, which makes it better for rinsing. By changing the water flow rate, you can change the depth of water that builds up in the bowl. It works quite well this way.

**Q: From the description: "Allow water to pool in the Colander."  How exactly when the draining holes at the bottom are always open?**
A: You first put the rice in the bowl. You then hold the bowl under a cold water faucet. The bowl will begin filling faster then the water can drain through the holes. Mix the rice and water around with your fingers. Drqain bowl and starch is off the rice. Works great!

A diferencia de otros coladores que había probado, éste es perfecto porque los agujeros por donde se escurre el agua son minúsculos y permite lavar bien la quinoa o escurrirla tras cocerla sin que caiga ni un grano en el fregadero. Además se nota por el material que es de muy buena calidad.
