Review: UNP Tent – Survived Flash Flood Conditions (Real World Test) Shenanigans Outdoors - We planned a light rain camping trip but ended up in two days of heavy downpour and flash flood conditions with roughly 8 inches of rain in a short amount of time. This tent handled it better than expected. The structure stayed solid the entire time with very sturdy poles and frame and no issues with wind or heavy rain. Setup and takedown were quick and easy even after getting soaked. There was minimal moisture inside mainly near the door area due to the large mesh roof and the extreme amount of rain falling but nothing serious just a quick wipe with a paper towel and we were good. For those conditions that is very impressive. The tent is very spacious with plenty of room to move around comfortably and store gear without feeling cramped. We were able to stay comfortable inside even during the worst of the storm. The white khaki color gives it a clean glamping style look especially at night with lighting inside. Overall this tent proved itself in real world conditions not just perfect weather camping. Very durable well built and reliable. We will be featuring it on our YouTube channel and plan on getting another one. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a strong and spacious tent that can handle serious weather.

I believe it is water resistant because we had a small spill in the tent and it just beaded up. Overall, pretty happy with it. We like to camp and have a total of 5 tents all various sizes, but we bought this one to replace our other large tent that took a beating last year during our summer camping season so we had to retire it. It was a bit bigger than this one with an enclosure for a lunging area, but overall we are happy with this one as a close replacement. It fit our queen sized air mattress, my sons twin mattress, space for our lounging and personal space as well. Great buy for the price as well!

A: It has a tarp kind of floor but we put it on top of a tarp and have a carpet down inside too.

**Q: Where does the 1 short pole go?**
A: There are two longer poles that make an X for the main support and the two shorter ones go on the sides to expand it out more. All poles fit into the little “pockets” at the base of the tent

We set this tent up at 2 o'clock in the morning after a hard day packing and driving to the homestead site. Set up was not difficult with two tent savvy adults, but I don't think one person could do it, at least not without a struggle. We put a large heavy duty tarp under the tent, ( the tarp will cover the cabin roof in a couple of weeks as this tent is temporary housing while we build the cabin) We are literally living in this tent and have done so for over a week now. No complaints. For the price point, there really aren't any negatives. The only tents I've used that I would choose over this one cost 5 times the price. It has rained and rained and rained and rained some more since we started living in this tent. NO LEAKS! It's not windy here. At most, we get very breezy so I cannot attest to the wind endurance. But the light wind has not been a problem at all. We did not use all of the tie outs because of the tarp in the front, but because we are living in this tent for the next month, we needed a place to shake off the mud before going into the tent. The tent is roomy. The partition makes it nice to separate a space for the kids and the engineering of the door was well thought out. We have 2 adults and two children plus what's left of our belongings in this tent. There's definitely space for a family camping trip. I would buy this again over the other options in the under $500 category. The price was the driving point in this purchase since the other tents we looked at were either $400 and up, or had terrible reviews. We looked at REI, Bass Pro and Cabellas, all of them had decent options but I'm really happy we went with this one and I would do it again. Just
