The reason why I bought this was because I wanted a smaller bottle so it would fit in my cup holder since I do a lot of driving in my field. I've tried using it the past 3 days and my water has managed to stay only a little bit below room temperature, but definitely not cold. I put a handful of ice into my bottle at 9 am and all of the ice managed to melt within the first hour even though the bottle was not opened once during that time. I carry my Glacier Point bottle around with me and there's ice in it even after 6 hours! I can't believe the East Rim bottle cost more than the Glacier Point bottle and it holds half the amount of water and doesn't even keep it cold. I've tried looking at the lifetime warranty on this thing and so far, I haven't even been able to find any details on how to contact them.
