A: It will work on any fabric, in my opinion.  you would just have to be more gentle on certain types.

**Q: Does it work well with Pitbull dog hair?**
A: Yes! I didn't want to believe the hype either, but if effortlessly picks up my long hair & my cat's long hair.

**Q: Does it work on cashmere sweaters?**
A: Not good for sweaters. Works better for upholstery and heavy weight fabric

**Q: Has anyone had this work on furniture for short dog hair, the kind that sticks into the fabric?**
A: I used it on my furniture, in bedding and in my car. It works great on both long and short dog hair.
