Our Ultrasac line of trash bags does not have any scent added to them. Trash bags in general can have a "tar like" smell to them from the melting of the resin used for them. We do not use any perfume scent in our bags. Thank you. **Q: how well do they stretch?** A: Very little stretch, if any. Very large and heavy duty. We didn’t need for them to stretch any larger as once full they could be quite heavy. **Q: is plastic 0.006 inch thick?** A: The bags I have right now are 2 Mil and they are super strong. Hope this helps, God bless. **Q: Can these bags be used to line the inside of a 55 gal drum?** A: Sorry, I really don't know but I measured the opening of the bag and it measures about 38 or 40 inches from end to end.
