I ordered it Thursday morning with a delivery date of Saturday (today)...but to my surprise, it was in the mail on Friday evening (bonus points for that!!) We decided that TODAY was the day! He was getting his bath! We slipped him the sedative in a pill pocket treat and waited a good 45 minutes for it to kick in. He wasn't 'out of it' but he looked mellow enough. He carried him into the bathroom and I placed him into the tub already filled with luke warm water. I wetted his fur (using a Solo red cup..as the noise from the faucet would have spooked him) and lathered him up with the shampoo making sure to really get it into the fur and soaked down to the skin. The directions suggest you let the shampoo sit for roughly five minutes but he wasn't having that, as he started to squirm around after about three minutes; so I rinsed him off; again, using a cup - drained the tub and towel dried him off. We let him stay inside on the couch to dry off more and relax for about an hour...and to test to make sure the smell wasn't just 'masked' by the shampoo. YESS!!! He smells NORMAL again lol. Now, eight hours later and he still smells good and his coat already looks shinier AND feels smooth.
