It wasnt excessively priced and I liked the qualities of the unique ingredients. I have been using my stick for about 4 weeks now, enough time to give it a serious review. I have never used anything in my life that works as well as this. It wasnt difficult getting used to the application of this stuff. Youre supposed to keep it under your armpit for a bit to warm it up and soften it to apply. I got tired of doing that an just do 3-4 downward wipes under my armpit. Yes, it will tear out hair doing it this way, but I hardly feel it and it saves time. At first I thought the smell of the sweet amber was going to be too feminine, but Ive had women tell me it just smells fresh, neither male or female oriented. I stay dry all day, I never have to reapply. Even when I do sweat, I dont really sweat. And all I smell is the sweet amber, I never smell gross. The other nice thing is this does not leave any sweat marks or stains on my clothes. I am so happy to have discovered this brand and deodorant. They have a ton of other scents I am looking to try as well. I cannot recommend this high enough to anyone looking to switch to natural deodorant. The scent is pleasant and incredibly invigorating, but not offensively strong; the feel is cooling, refreshing and long-lasting. I still prefer the stick over the pot. (I just recently made the switch from conventional antiperspirants to natural deodorants.) Luckily, I have not had the underarm irritation that was brought up as a major con by many people whose skin seemed to be sensitive to baking soda in other natural deo's, which this formulation has too, but I suppose, in a lesser proportion. It definitely does a superb job of controlling and preventing BO all day long. I live in New England and it can get VERY humid here in the summer. This particular deo works well without me having to reapply during the day. Sometimes I put it on twice: one layer in the evening after the shower, and a couple of swipes in the AM on hot and humid days (as a proactive measure before I go out). Although I've been using it for a good month now, sometimes I still put on a bit too much and for some time it does feel "wet." (I attribute it to coconut oil. Solution: either blot it with a tissue or just wait it out.) Then I go to bed and it dries completely. I estimated 3 swipes was the right amount for me at night (and add'l layer of 2 swipes in the AM on hot days). I absolutely will be buying this scent again for myself and for my fam&friends.
