Didn't need to set it to the full 30 psi. 30psi of propane is a LOT of gas. Another burner of similar design has a 150,000 BTU capability. That means that if you can pump 150,000 BTUs of propane per hour, this burner will handle it. But rarely will you ever need it. I believe your regulator has the capability of passing enough gas to burn 80,000 BTUs of propane per hour. If the King Cooker has a different mounting method, I would doubt that it would physically fit without some modifications to the King Kooker frame. My research says that the 24WC has a low pressure 54,000 BTU burner. This is a 150,000 BTU burner and requires a high pressure regulator. The regulator that comes with the 24WC is a low pressure regulator.
