This kit pumps water out of the livewell, through a hose to an aerator spray head that delivers the water back into the livewell. This self-contained system can be added to any livewell that already has a freshwater fill system, or it can be used as a backup pump as a fail-safe system. I've never been a huge fan of attwood products but what the hey. Got this pump installed and tried it out during a bass tournament and it works like a champ! It's pretty quiet as well, which I caught myself popping the hatch here and there to make sure it was working. I have since ordered a couple more for feeding the livewells from the transom.
