Any waterfall pump putting out 5,000 GPH would be factory made for 2". The mesh bag is a bit of an afterthought. We put it in a front yard rock waterfall that goes to a small pond. Worked for about 4 days. Then completely dead. Pond was completely cleared out before install so no issues with debris.
