I wasn’t expecting to like it, honestly, but I needed an inexpensive B-cam tripod that would be light enough to travel with, and this fit the bill. If I didn’t like it, I figured I could give it away at the end of this travel shoot. At that price, you aren’t risking much. They massively overdelivered on this one. It’s a solid build. Lightweight. Easy to use. Super stable. Super smooth head. Lots of options for configuration. I’m buying another for A-cam, it’s that good.

A: It is about 6.6 lbs without the head.

**Q: How sturdy is the spreader attachment? First thing to go is always the spreader**
A: How sturdy is the spreader? When treated with care, it seems to be very durable. I've had this tripod for three years and used it for weddings, and photographing over 100 antiquities without any problem. I don't put my foot on it or stress it in any way.

**Q: can this hold a teleprompter?**
A: yes. just has standard 3/8th threading

**Q: Will work for Nikon P1000?**
A: Use a few times the screw will drop
