I have had this table cover for almost a month and it has been a dream! It has held up to spills (with no leaking through to the table), children, and even cats! I simply wipe it down with a bit of dish soap and I'm good to go. Not to mention how gorgeous it is! I have not tested it against staining with things like dyes or food colorings, but anything that has spilled or gotten on it has easily come off. It's thick but not plasticky or cheap looking. There's no need for extra liners or covers with this product. This is all you need for your table to stay safe and gorgeous all at the same time.
