It is made from sturdy material and the bladder itself will keep the water pretty cool when stored in a backpack, even on hot days. I also have an insulation bag, but I never use it. When cycling in 32 degrees Celcius, that's 89F for you imperial speakers out there ;), it will keep cool in the backpack throughout the day. It never leaked when I used it.
