It may be harder to get them not melty in warmer months. That being said, they smell like heaven. They burn for approximately 1 1/2 hours, as stated, and they really burn away cleanly. You do need a very small holder, about 1/4 inch, for the candle to stand up. The light they emit is beautiful, and I really love them.
